ThemeShaper Forums Topic: Keep superfish Submenu Ope Help In Shaping WordPress Themes en Wed, 27 May 2015 01:43:51 +0000 ScottNix on "Keep superfish Submenu Ope" Tue, 11 Dec 2012 17:50:49 +0000 ScottNix 27706@
This is the old forum, you may want to post at to get some more eyes on this issue.

That being said, recently I have been working on a issue that is somewhat related. One thing I figured out after a little frustration is that the drop down menu JS is not required. If you don't care about support for IE6 (I don't), you can disable the JS that controls the menus completely, then you won't have to deal with trying to override those styles, instead you can just work out a pure CSS solution.

function childtheme_override_head_scripts() { // silence! }

marknolan on "Keep superfish Submenu Ope" Sun, 09 Dec 2012 21:14:47 +0000 marknolan 27698@
I have a "normal" horizontal superfish navigation. The Only thing is that I would like to keep the Subitems open if I'm on one of the parents children.
Pure CSS seems to get overriden by JS. I'm sure there must be an easy way with filtering the arguments and replacing with custom SF Args. Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Mark
