  1. Hey, I adore thematic and have learned so much from these threads, but I can't seem to find this one: How can I add some text and code at the right-top corner of the header? I've tried to put it in different places in the header file but it just looks bad (for example, if I put it just below the 'header' call it adds a whole lot of space below). I've noticed there are some clues like "Action hook for creating content..." but I don't understand how to use it...

    Basically, I would like the right-top corner of the header to look like this: http://bainspiration.com/

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance for any help!

  3. Would the Widgets in the Header post be a good source/place to start?

  4. @helgatheviking I think that's what I needed thanks!!

    @d_rec I've tried with the widgets but the placing is wrong.

    I'll see how I get along with the action hooks and will mark this as solved as soon as I do it, thanks!!

  5. Just for the record, if anyone else stumbles upon this same issue, I solved it with this code in the functions.php file:

    <?php
    /* Modify aboveheader */
    function childtheme_aboveheader() { ?>
    WHATEVER YOU WANT ABOVE HEADER
    <?php }
    add_action('thematic_aboveheader', 'childtheme_aboveheader');
    ?>

    cheers
