    What's the proper way to put additional div's such as <div id="leader"> the way it's used on themeshaper.com?

    I'd like to add additional dynamic content between the header and container div's on some of the pages.

    I originally copied header.php to my child theme and then added them there. It worked (sort of) but I'm not sure how to add dynamic content like a page description or an image unique to each page.

    Thanks,

    Bud

  2. Hey Bud,

    create a function with your content and add it as an action to thematic_belowheader().

  3. Chris,

    That option adds the the image to every page of the site - what if we only want it added to specific templates?

    For instance, what if I want a separate image as a subheader on the ABOUT page and a seperate image as the subheader on the CONTACT page?

  4. This depends on your code. If you mount the image with your code, you can use Conditional Tags.

    If you mount the image using css, you can use any of the body classes to load different images on your pages.

    Example:

    .slug-about .entry-content { background-color : red;}

    This will change the background of .entry-content to red but only on your 'About' page.
