Is there a way to aling the wrapper left? I currently do not use borders and it looks like all my content is floating aroud. I would prefer to have the whole page aligned left all the time. How can I do that? I could not find any CSS references in the default.css.

    kind regards,
    Stephan

  2. The place to start would be in the layout file you are using. Probably something like 2c-r-fixed.css. The layout file sets all of the major divisions. But each container block may be positioned separately. Lower level settings like p {text-align:center;} may overide higher settings in divisions like #main.

So; no easy way to force everything left.

When troubleshooting, basic layout issues while modifying themes, sometimes it helps to put borders around everything to see how your content blocks are interacting.

    How I did it:

    1. I importet the 2c-r-fixed.css file in my childtheme (so I can fiddle with it there, without breaking thematic)

    2. I added a #wrapper { float: left; } to the imported 2c-r-fixed.css

    3. Done: now all content is left-aligned.

I have to admit, I don't know if this is a "clean" way to align everything left, though - it works. Anyway, it does not look nearly as good, as I imagined, so probabbly, I will switch back to a centered layout.

    greetings,
