  1. What is the best way to change what is displayed on various pages, "tags" "index" "category"

    I would like my categories page to display full posts. Something that was easy to do in other themes I've worked with, but Thematic seems to be more function heavy.

  2. Hi,

    use this code in your child theme's functions.php:

    function category_full($content) {
    	if (is_category()) {
    		$content = 'full';
    	}
    	return $content;
    }
    add_filter('thematic_content', 'category_full');

  3. thank you! Still trying to learn to utilize functions instead of editing the php of everything. I've heard that using full content on category and tag pages could be bad for SEO?

    does that hold true if category and tag pages are noindex?

  4. No .. and it's not the full content. Indexing the same content several times is the bad thing.

    Greetings All,

    With the above example, is it possible to 'modify' the output such that it becomes:

    - Post Title, Post Thumbnail, Post Excerpt

    on the category pages? Someone, please share the solution... low on brain power, trying to build up on it.
