    Hey,

    I am trying to set up a blog page that has excerpts with links to the full article and uses feature images as a thumbnail on that page. The current set up I am using comes from the book Build Your Own Wicked Wordpress Themes (which is fabulous for beginners and uses Thematic as its framework)...the only problem with their set up is that it creates this custom loop which disables the link to the older posts...how do I make all this work together without destroying the link to older posts?

    Here is my current setup: http://www.weglephotography.com/?page_id=42

    Could you post the code that you ended up using? I am not seeing how you dealt with the older link issue. I also started with Wicked WordPress themes code but I am getting 5 excerpts and no older post links at http://wineworldwarehouse.com/wineblog/

    <?php
    $args = array( 'posts_per_page=> 10', 'orderby' => 'ASC');
    $blog_posts = get_posts( $args );
    foreach( $blog_posts as $post ) :  setup_postdata($post); ?>
    	<h2 class ="blogpost_title"><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2>
    	<p>
    	<?php
    if ( has_post_thumbnail() ) { // check if the post has a Post Thumbnail assigned to it.
      the_post_thumbnail('thumbnail', array('class' => 'alignleft'));
    }
    	the_excerpt(); ?></p>
    <?php endforeach;
    wp_reset_query();
    ?>

    					<div class="entry-content">

    	                    <?php

    	                    the_content();

    	                    wp_link_pages("\t\t\t\t\t<div class='page-link'>".__('Pages: ', 'thematic'), "</div>\n", 'number');

    	                    edit_post_link(__('Edit', 'thematic'),'<span class="edit-link">','</span>') ?>

    					</div><!-- .entry-content -->
    				</div><!-- #post -->
