I've been using the thematic framework as the basis for my website for some time, but I haven't been using the blog. I've been trying to dig up the "blog.php" file or whatever the equivalent to that is, so I can modify the visual layout of the blog but I can't seem to find it anywhere. If you could direct me towards the file(s) associated with the blog layout, that'd be greatly appreciated.

isn't it index.php ? and you can also edit (properly in your child theme of course) the index_loop() function to change the markup... depends on what you are trying to do.
