What is the best way to move the blog title/description and nav menu further down the page (so i can insert a banner etc above) without messing up the CSS?

I used several <br /> which did the trick, or so i thought, until i viewed it in IE and all my content was squished over to the left side.

Could i just add some <br /> into the header.php file above the <div id="header"> part?

Also, if i wanted to add a header image (where the title/description is normally visible) how could i do this, making sure to keep the image aligned to the left (again, where the title/description normally is) so that it is directly above the start of the menu or feature section, no matter the size of browser used to view?

Or would i be best to replace the title/description itself with the image, like here?

  3. Hey,

.. take the 2nd option .. never ever use <br /> to position things on your blog :-)
