Building a personal Framework!?!

    Ok So i decided to make the plunge and start making my own simple framework for projects that demand a little more customization. SO i found two themes from Thematic which I think would be perfect as my backbone. One is Toolbox and the other is Shape. Now I know toolbox is an HTML5 theme and Shape is not. Both have similarities in other ways and I was wondering what would be the advantages or disadvantages between using one or the other

    Just to clarify, Toolbox and Shape are Themeshaper themes not Thematic child themes and are not related to Thematic except by their author. Both are good starting points for a theme. One is html5 the other xhtml 1.0 transitional. Pick your poison.
