  1. if some one could check out my code it would be great.I am stumped.
    the site is :
Underneath the map is a button to open the PDF so people can print the application to sign up for the run.
It opens in fire fox but not Ie 7 or Ie 8.
I used anchor tags and a link option in the menu on word press.
I am using a child theme, Neautica with the latest version of theme shaper.

Thank you for the help.It is for Habitat for Humanity.

  2. From what I've read very briefly on buttons, I'm not sure linking the button using a href is the correct way of using the HTML <button> code?

If you do want a button format, maybe you could consider:

    <button onClick="parent.location=''">5k run info</button>

You can find out more about styling buttons here:

Or just simply do a text link.

    Hope this helps! :)

p/s: If you are perhaps thinking of monitoring the number of times people download the form, you can use a plugin like WordPress Download Monitor (

  3. Thank You so much Flick. It is clear my HTML is not exactly the best. I am learning on the fly at w3schools but I like the link you gave me as well.
I really appreciate the quick response since all of this is time sensitive.

  4. @Joe Little: I'm new to Thematic so am just very glad I can help with one or two forum questions. Everyone starts somewhere.

Incidentally, my browser (Firefox 3.0.17 at 1024 x 768 resolution) doesn't seem to display your site properly at the moment.
