  1. Hello I made a child theme out of thematic and it worked perfectly in localhost but when I set everything up on a server and logged in, the following two errors popped up at the top of the page. Then if I log out after seeing these to errors I can't log back in!:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/nyankaed/public_html/lovejerseyshoestest/wp-content/themes/lovejerseyshoestheme/functions.php:38) in /home/nyankaed/public_html/lovejerseyshoestest/wp-includes/functions.php on line 861

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/nyankaed/public_html/lovejerseyshoestest/wp-content/themes/lovejerseyshoestheme/functions.php:38) in /home/nyankaed/public_html/lovejerseyshoestest/wp-includes/functions.php on line 862

    Why would this work in my localhost but not on my server? It's the same version of wordpress (3.3.1) and the same files and plugins as before. The only difference is I manually installed the wordpress on my localhost and used quickinstall for my server. If there's any files you need to see to help me out, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be grateful for any help I can get here.

  2. please google the headers already sent error... or hell i think it is on the forums, i just answered it literally the other day. this is extremely common and has nothing to do with thematic. it simply means that you have extra whitespace before your opening <?php or your closing ?> tag.

    this is ok

    <?php
    //helga loves bacon
    ?>

    while this:

    //this will cause an error
    <?php
    //helga loves bacon
    ?>
    //another headers already sent error
