    Hi, can anyone tell my where I in my CSS file I can change the position of the text "category archives: ..."?

    Firebug says it´s:

    .page-title  {
    padding:0 0 44px;

    But if I change
    in my childtheme, nothing happens.

    It needs a 20 0 0 20 padding.
    This is the site:

    If you go to any one category, you´ll see what I mean.

    Many thanks.

  2. Hi Lucia,

    don't have any problems to change this with Firebug.

    I added:

    .page-title {padding: 20px 0 0 20px;}

    to the CSS and it worked.

    Hi Ian, right, same here.
    In firebug it does what it should do.
    But if I change this in my actual css. sheet (of my childtheme), nothing happens.
    Somehow default.css is not overwritten by it.
    I don´t get it. If you have a hint, please let me know.

    Hi Helga, thanks!
    Maybe an odd question, but how can you get to my child´s style.css, is that a feature in firebug? If you an Ian are having no problems, I´m sure it´s just something simple that I am not doing right. URL:
    I´m going to give it another go now.

    Ian, I solved it!
    There was an extra "{" lying around in my stylesheet, just above this page-title tag.
    That´s why my site wasn´t listening to it.
    Thanks so much. Ian, you´re a great help for the thematic users!

    I will post a new question on how to center the calender in de subsidiary widget area. Maybe you can help there as well.

    Thanks again.

  9. .. found the bug :)

    Search for:

    #main {
    	width: 940px;
    	background: silver;
    	padding: 20px 0px 0px 0px;

    There's one bracket too much ;)

    .. run your style.css through the W3C CSS-Validator. There are more errors!
