  1. Hi there,

    I am trying to figure out how to simply change the order of the post meta data and the post header / title.

    I would like to display the post information, ie. "By John | Published: February 3, 2010" before the post title.

    Thanks very much! :)

  2. *Bump!*

    Just to clarify this is what I mean:

    As opposed to having the meta data AFTER the header.

    I have done this in the past in wordpress but I am having trouble with the functions / thematic way of doing things.

  3. No love? *cries*

    I can change some of the entry-meta in functions.php - with my basic PHP skills.

    I have no idea how to move it before the entry-post div, however. Anyone know where/how I can do this?

  5. Upgrade to Thematic and try this code in your child theme`s functions.php:

    function my_postheader() {
        global $post;
        if ($post->post_type == 'page' || is_404()) {
            $postheader = thematic_postheader_posttitle();
        } else {
            $postheader = thematic_postheader_postmeta() . thematic_postheader_posttitle();
    	return $postheader;
    add_filter('thematic_postheader', 'my_postheader' );

  8. Hello!

    I am a new user to wordpress and have been working almost nonstop for the last 4-5 days.
    I use trial and error to find where things happening, but this one sounded easy...

    I have tried this several times without successs, don't know what is wrong but it get messed up.
    I want the same thing but also include the "comments" like this:

    February 14 2010 [12 comments]
    Undertext to the Title (text I can write using h4 in the new post or can there be an easier way?)

    Sometimes I want to write the authors name and sometimes other comments to the title

    you can find what I am working with here
