    Hi there,
I'm working on this site at the moment:

    http://www.test2.lookhappydesign.com/

and I want to change the Page titles from automatically being <H1> to being H2 tags. I think this should be possible using a function but I just can't figure it out and make it work.

For now I have changed the H1 page header in the content-extensions.php in the thematic files, which I know I shouldn't do because it won't last an update.

Anyway, any help would be hugely appreciated!

    Thanks

    Joe

Your site theme thus far is really looking great - hot.
This has to be an easy support question for somebody.
I'll do a little digging on it, since I'm just newbie.

Did you check the codex at wp.org, does it help?

  4. Really liking your design as well, lookhappy.

Is it possible to find out which line <h1> is on for your content-extensions.php? For some reason Notepad++ isn't finding <h1> in that file for me.

Are you suggesting changing all those h1's seen in the content-extensions.php file to h2's then Flick, or figuring which ones are applicable then and changing those?
Also do you directly editcontent-extensions.php or do it in a child theme manner somehow to a different file?

I see that in my local copy here of Thematic, just trying to help lookhappy track this down.

  6. @tzShaper: I would have gone for option 2 using filters or something, rather than actually editing content-extensions.php.

And my bad there for not looking properly: I was searching for <h1> when I should used </h1>.

I see <h1> appearing for thematic_page_title (Line 135 onwards) and thematic_postheader_posttitle (Line 401) and I think it is possible to filter both functions.

Hopefully the examples below are correct -
    For thematic_postheader_posttitle: http://forums.themeshaper.com/topic/removing-page-titles-not-hiding-themhow#post-6763

    And a simple example for thematic_page_title: http://forums.themeshaper.com/topic/adding-image-038-hiding-page-title-from-the-archives#post-9724
