  1. Hello all, I am looking to change the default size of the .wp-post-image from the default 100x100 to one with a height of 300px, or even better, "medium" size as set in my Wordpress dashboard. I have been messing around with variations of the following filter with no luck.

    //filter to change thumbnail size
        function childtheme_post_thumbs($content) {
        if (is_category('18')) {
        $size = apply_filters( 'thematic_post_thumb_size' , array('medium') );}
        return $content;
    }
    add_filter('thematic_post_thumbs', 'childtheme_post_thumbs')

    Does anyone have any ideas?
    Many thanks

  2. Hi,

    I have been playing around with variations of the filter above for the last few days without a great deal of luck. I sense I am on the right track, but missing something quite basic. At least that is what I hope. The plan, as detailed above, is to change the size of the thumbnail/featured image in a particular category from the default 100x100 to one with a height of 300px

    If anyone has any suggestions or pointers they would be hugely appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

  3. I use this code to change the thumbnail size

    function childthemes_post_thumb($size) {
        $size = array(300,300);
    	return $size;
    }
    add_filter('thematic_post_thumb_size', 'childthemes_post_thumb');
