Child custom template not in template list

    Gday Themeshaper forum

    I have created a site using Thematic with a child theme.

    I made a custom template but it does not show in the available templates list.

    It is available in the list when put in the thematic parent directory, but is not available when moved into the child directory.

    Does anyone have any solutions for this?

    Thanks for any help you can provide.

    is your child theme the active theme?

    no reason the template won't show up in your available list unless it is 1. not in your child theme folder or 2 does not have the following at the top

    /**
 * Template Name: Your custom template name
 */
