I am attempting to build my first child theme and would really like to incorporate the 960 grid system. Has anyone done this or is it even possible?

nerd 2 nerd- I've thought of doing something similar but with bluprintcss but it doesn't seem a worthwhile effort. Thematic's semantics and structural markup wont mesh easily. At that point why not pick the best functions from thematic's library and build your own theme off of them with templates that will accommodate structural markup.
Anywho- I've found that the three available layouts in thematic used in combination provide most of what I need. There are frameworks out there built on blueprint and the 960gs but thematic seems to have good momentum and it's library structure makes the most sense to me so here I am.
