  1. hi guys,

    how to clear floats on div header?
    here's my css

    #header { clear: both; overflow: hidden; width: 940px; margin: 0 auto; padding: 0; }
    #access { float: right; width: 300px; border-bottom: 0 none; }
    #branding { padding: 0; float: left; width: 400px; }

    on #header the overflow:hidden makes my drop-down menu half hidden. if i change overflow:visible it makes the content scroll to the right but it fixes the drop-down menu.

  3. it solved.
    there's a .menu class with margin: 0 auto; and width: 940px. i re-css them. margin: 0; width: inherit;(inherit to parent's width - the div#access). <<<< how to disable the width to 0 (zero), im not sure to use inherit or auto.

    to clear the float, i used add action function <div class="clear"></div>, clear:both. insert this action after div#access.

    sorry, Im Indonesian, my English is rusty.
