Help! OK, I'm working on my first Thematic child theme for a blog project. Everything has gone great so far. I'm trying to add a contact form. I'm tried multiple plug-ins. All require adding a shortcode to the page. So far the contact form just doesn't show up, no matter what plug-in I use.
Anyone have any advise? What am I missing? The website is http://creativitymonster.com. The page I'm trying to add a contact form to at the moment is the "write for cm" page.
hey your theme is off to a good start.... but your write for cm link doesn't go anywhere. to add a short code you need to be in html mode when you are editing a page or a post. if you are in visual mode (there are 2 tabs at the top right of your editor) and you paste in the short code you just get it printed back and nothing special happens.
in html mode I post this to get a cforms form:
<!--cforms name="Contact Me"-->where Contact Me is obviously the name of the form I want to appear.
