  1. Hi, I am trying to make a drastically customized homepage layout and in doing so have created a few new homepage asides - my issue is that I want to add some imagery to the sidebar (an image of a circle that gets absolutely positioned top left) and need to put that image in the sidebar unit. Normally I'd use a sidebar template but I'm convinced that there is a better method, maybe a function that I'm unaware of, to accomplish this feat. Any ideas?

  2. well if you are doing something radical that probably is the best bet. no need to over-complicate or reinvent the wheel.

You might want to look at Image Widget:

Very easy to customize and absolutely position - at least in my case.

  4. Thank you for the suggestions, After some reflection I think that jQuery is going to be the best bet - it's just a minor stylistic addition, so it doesn't warrant a full new sidebar - I'd rather keep the original thematic framework there.
