    Hi all,
    I'm trying to customize my homepage. What would I have to edit to insert a div on top of the homepage, like this:

    [ div ] <- something in a div with 100% width
    [p] [s] <- left:post right:sidebar
    [p] [s]

    Also, would it be possible to disable the sidebar only on the frontpage, to create somthing like this?

    [ div ] <- something in a div with 100% width
    [p] [p] <- left:post right:post
    [p] [p]

    I found a way to disable sidebar on the frontpage, in another thread in this forum:

    function remove_sidebar() {
    if (is_home()) {
    return FALSE;
    } else {
    return TRUE;
    }
    }
    add_filter('thematic_sidebar', 'remove_sidebar');

  3. why not add that 100% div to the thematic_belowheader hook? that will make it the same width as the wrapper div... which by default is 100% of the screen.

    here is a super helpful hooks diagram: http://bluemandala.com/thematic/thematic-structure.html

    function add_div(){
    if (is_home()) { ?>
    <div>New div goes here</div>
    <?php }
    }
    add_action('thematic_belowheader','add_div')
