  1. I am almost to the point of giving up. Cannot find where to control this in Word Press, thematic functions or styles. Gallery theme is being used, can't find an answer in Chris Wallace's blog either...

    An example is at http://artalchemy.biz/?p=231

    Did you ever try adding a width and height to this?

    .single .entry-artwork{
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    border: 1px solid #FFFFFF;
    -moz-border-radius: 3px;
    border-radius: 3px;
    -webkit-border-radius: 3px;
    padding: 6px
    }

    (BTW - you're missing a ';' at the end of the dec for 'padding')

    you've also got a couple of other small css errors - look for these

    .post blockquote p {
    font-stayle: italic;
    }

    #comments-list .comment-author {
    font-weight: bold;
    font-size: 1.3em
    padding: 5px 0 0 0;
    }

  3. Thanks amygail,

    Funny, that code is from the original developer lol!

    Thanks for pointing out those errors.

    The trouble with adding height and width is I want to keep images proportional, but not to exceed a width that would screw up the page. Does that make sense?

  5. That seemed to "try" to work, but something else is not allowing me to get the width I apply. If I post the css would you be able to point it out?

    try

    .single .entry-artwork img{
      max-width: 100px;

    }

    (and remember to add the missing semi-colon here..

    .single .entry-artwork{
      background-color: #191919;
      border: 1px solid #333;
      -moz-border-radius: 3px;
      border-radius: 3px;
      -webkit-border-radius: 3px;
      padding: 10px
    }

  8. OMG! I think that worked! I uploaded a larger file and it kept it to the width I added, also keeping the height proportional! I owe you big time amygail ;)

    If you ever need any design work or help in something you are not expert in, I will be more than happy to come through for you!

    Have a great day... you made mine :)

    I'm so glad it worked for you. I know the frustration of being stuck. I'm there now, in fact.

    I'm not an expert in anything, by the way ;-)
