Is there a difference in the 0.9.5.1 and 0.9.6 versions in terms of commitment? 0.9.5.1 is a release version where as 0.9.6 is an SVN version. Do SVN versions come with a disclaimer that the functionality available in the SVN version may not be available in the next release version? I am unclear about the difference between a SVN version and a release version in that sense. Please provide some light on the same.

Also, when will we have the next release version of thematic like 0.9.5.1 (i.e. available on the wordpress repository and on the themeshaper website)

  2. Hi,

the current SVN copy is the upcoming Thematic 0.9.6. Currently we are waiting for the approval from WordPress.Org. Don't know how long this will take.

Until now I used the forums to announce if a new functionality might make it into a release or not. This will change for future development.

In the future SVN copies you'll find a 'what's new' / 'changelog' with changes that will make it into the next release.

In addition you'll find a 'under development' disclaimer. This will list:
    - under heavy development
    - functionality might change
    - functionality might not make it into the next release
