I would really appreciate any help! I'm trying to figure out a way to embed youtube videos into my excerpt. What is the best way to do this?
Heres the website im working on, you can see that the you tube videos aren't working in the excerpt. http://blueprintprep.kicks-ass.net/
my immediate thought would be to use a plugin like P75's Simple Video Embedder. that attaches the video url in the post meta, so then you could test to see if the post has a video and use the plugin's functionality to display it in the excerpt... very similar to what you would do w/ a picture thumbnail.
that said, videos look to be displaying just fine in your excerpts... did you solve it?
actually now i have a client who wants this. care to elaborate what you've done?
