  1. Hi,

    I'm trying to wrap my head around thematic and so far its going really well.

    One thing I'm noticing is a mention of 'thematic'in the code and I don't understand what its for...

    $posttitle = '<h1 class="entry-title">' . __('Not Found', 'thematic') . "</h1>\n";

    Could anyone please shed some light?

    Thanks,
    Andy. UK.

  2. that has to do w/ translation. exactly how it works i am not 100%. but the preceding __ means it is a "translatable string". _e('string') echos it out while __('string') returns the value. i believe that if you were translating Thematic into another language that 'thematic' tag would be how you'd identify all the strings to be translated.

  3. Oh right. That makes sense now. I don't understand how, but I know why. :)
