    I am a total newbie at this, but I am trying to integrate featured content gallery into the feature site theme. I have placed the gallery where the feature-item.png was by replacing this in funtions.php
    <?php } elseif (is_page_template('front-page.php') ) {
    $rand = mt_rand(1, 2);
    include "includes/feature-front-$rand.php";

    with this:
    <?php } elseif (is_page_template('front-page.php') ) ?>
    <?php include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>

    My thinking is that I don't actually want it to grab the feature-front-x.php files as I'll just use the gallery for this (unless I can rotate those files with some navigation?). However, I would like to keep some static content in the feature-info div beside the gallery. Where do I place the code that?

  2. Hi,

    don't know if I got that right.

    You could use something like:

    include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>
    <div id="fcg_info">Your text .... </div>

    With this you could float #featured left and float #fcg_info right.

    Hi Chris,
    Thanks for the answer, it's close. That places the text to the right of the feature but below it. I'd like it right next to the feature. Here's the rough site if you want to see what I mean

    Hi Chris,
    Yeah I killed it accidentally for a moment but now I've reset it to the original. I'll get back to it later today. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hi Chris,
    I think I fixed it. I put the call to fcg in feature-front.php and took out the randomization in functions.php I don't know if that's the best way to do it, but it seems to be working.
