    Hi,
    i hope you can help me with the following problem. I installed Thematic and that child theme Gallery. I love that functionality but theres coming an error on single "blog posts":

    Warning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /var/www/html/web407/html/portfolio/wp-content/themes/gallery/functions.php on line 131

    Warning: file_get_contents(http://tinyurl.com/api-create.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fportfolio.fluchtgedanken.de%2F%3Fp%3D172) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /var/www/html/web407/html/portfolio/wp-content/themes/gallery/functions.php on line 131

    I´m not as good on php so i want to ask you what to do now? Should i change something on my server? Or its better to change the script? I hope someone can help me. I would be very pleased. I want that theme so bad :)

    Thx,

    Fabian

    PS: Hope you can ready my english, its not that good, cause i´m from germany.

    This warning may mean that your server configuration (your host) is blocking external file access. (I have this problem with Media Temple)

    If you go to Chris Wallace's site (he created the theme) and read the comments it looks like there may be a solution

  4. Just a quick post because I just ran into it.

    allow_url_fopen = On
    needs to be set in php.ini due to this error.
