  1. Hi All

    Hopefully the title says it all! I want to get the header and content to float left and the sidebar to move up alongside the header and content floating right. Here is the site:

    Any ideas how I do that please? I should mention I want to get the footer into the bottom of the sidebar!

    Thanks

  2. Hey Richard, try:

    #container {float:right;}
    #primary,
    #secondary {float:left;}
    #footer {clear:both;}

    let me know!

  4. Thanks Danny

    I've done that and no luck. It seems that #main is holding the sidebar down. The only thing I can think of is switching #main off! I tried to tell the sidebar to go -250px so it would move up but the #main cuts off the top.

    Is it possible to turn off #main through functions or do I just edit the templates and take it out please?

    Thanks

  5. Hey Rich,

    don't try to remove #main :-)

    Use thematic_aboveheader() or thematic_belowheader() (take a look at Thematic Structure .. both hooks are outside related to #header or #main) to create a new sidebar inside of a new div id. Then you should be able to move / arrange this sidebar to your needs.

    Cheers,

    Chris
