    Dear all,
I have been developing a site here: http://www.nepadbiosafety.net/ using Thematic and a child theme. It looks fine in my Firefox and IE and all the browsers I've tested it on on Windows and Mac machines. However, I have had more than one person report that the header is not showing up for them. One person said that the header color shows but the logos and the text are gone (IE) and it shows up fine in FF. I had another one report that on both his laptop and desktop (IE) the header is completely gone. On my phone (WebOS), it shows up fine except for the logo images. I am having trouble figuring out where the issue might be, especially since I cannot see the issue with my browsers. However I don't want this to reflect badly on the organization - if multiple people cannot see the header then there are likely many more out there, and I expect most of them to be using IE. Please help me troubleshoot where the problem might be. Thank you!
    Warm regards,
    Callista

You might start with site validation, you have a number of errors. Fixing them might help you find the issue. Good Luck :-):

Wow, great, thanks, I'll fix those and see if it helps. I wonder where these errors came from? I just used Thematic with a child theme and only messed with the CSS. I did add some extra functions from the forums too, I'll check those out. Good catch, thanks again!!

  4. I think you are using .png files? Some browsers don't support them. There are plugins that you can use that make them display in IE if that's the case.

Ahh, thank you. I will check that out as well. I have no idea what these guys may be using. Maybe I should switch to jpg images just to be on the safe side. Thanks!!!
