  1. Hi guys, wondering whether one of you might be able to help...

    If you go to http://www.invisibleinkwebdesigns.com/blog/ you'll find my attempt at a blog (don't laugh please). The problem I have is that the blog title (Invisible Ink Web Design Blog) appears at the top of every post.

    I thought maybe it was one of my plugins that was causing it, so I've tried deactivating them one-by-one but no difference - it just sits there! I've used Thematic loads of times before and never had this problem but I have been racking my brains, trying to think of a reason for it and come up with absolutely nothing.

    I recently upgraded the version of Thematic but it was doing it with the older version too. The only way I can seem to get rid of the problem is by deleting the blog title in the settings panel, which is obviously not ideal.

    If anyone could help, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

    By the way, amazing template!

    It does seem to be an activated plugin still lingering around since looking at the source it seems the 'Invisible Ink Web Design Blog' text is not the blog title but a breadcrumb reference. If this is a breadcrumb plugin it should have an option whether to include the home or not.

  3. Nah, sorry, not that one mate - the one I'm talking about is the first line of text underneath each of the post headings. Before the post paragraph text starts, it just says "Invisible Ink Web Design Blog" - when you look at the source code, it's not contained in any divs, headers or p tags - it's wierd.

    Anyone??

    Not sure exactly WHERE the problem is coming from, but I did find it in the source code. It is just after <div class="entry-content"> and has not formatting attached - it is just text added in from somewhere. I would venture to guess it is a php file as it is repeated. I am new to Thematic, Wordpress, and php so I could not be of too much help, but maybe this can help the diagnosis along. Here are the examples that I found:

    <div class="entry-content">
    Invisible Ink Web Design Blog<p>Just thought I’d share this with you –

    and here:

    <div class="entry-content">

    Invisible Ink Web Design Blog<p><img class="floatright noborder" src="http://www.invisibleinkwebdesigns.com/blog/wp-content/themes/thematic/images/content/mouse.jpg" alt="Logitech MX Revolution" title="Logitech MX Revolution">This is the first of the gadget reviews on this site and I decided to choose a product I have been using for about 3 years

    and here:

    <div class="entry-content">

    Invisible Ink Web Design Blog<p>As you may or may not know (depending on whether you have read some of the earlier posts on here), I love photography. I have been doing it as, I guess, an occasion

    And anywhere else that the_content() seems to be invoked. Sorry I couldn't have pinpointed it for you. Good Luck!

  5. Hi,

    could be an exploded filter :)

    Are you trying to filter the content?

  6. Nope, not at all (don't even know what you mean by filtering the content to be honest) - it's really baffled me, this one. Can't think of any reason at all why it'd do that.

    Thanks Mike - yeah, I know - the source code makes me even more confused to be honest - you'd think the bug would be kind enough to wrap itself in something just a little semantic, so I could tell where it was coming from!
