I'm using Thematic to build a site, not a blog. At first, I wanted to hide the entry titles so that page titles were not posted on each page. I used "display: none" to hide entry titles on pages.

However, I do have a "blog" page where events are posted. I need the titles to be posted there, but I'm not sure how to do it.

Is there a way to do that? Thanks!

  2. You could hide everything you want on a page basis. Take a look at the classes generated on every single page of the site (classes fo the body tag) and use that class to hide something on every single page. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the reply. Where is the best way to find the classes generated on every single page? (Sorry, still learning child themes/Thematic.)

BTW, I did just find a similar question/answer here, http://forums.themeshaper.com/topic/removing-the-heading-from-pages, which worked.

  4. The easiest way: a right click to show the page source in your browser (view page source in Firefox or HTML in explorer...)

and yes, the answer you have find is correct. now it depends on you.

If you use Firefox, search for an Add-on called "Web Developer", install it and press "Ctrl + Shift + Y", them wherever you hover your mouse you will know exactly what classes apply to the element hovered.
