How to change Thematic to be fixed width?

Hello,

I am new at this (of course) and I haven't been able to figure out how to make my blog a fixed width like the default wp Kubrick theme.

Right now the Thematic theme extends to the width of my wide screen monitor and I would like it to be centered on the screen and 980px wide. I am using 2c-l-fixed.css.

Any help/guidance will be much appreciated.

I figured it out while trying to figure out something else. I am not entirely sure that I did it in a good way, but it looks great.

The theme is great and what I have read in the forums is really helpful as well.
