   Is there a way that one could have a header image on top of another header image?

   Right now I have a header image aligned to the right side of the page, but I also want another header image that will contain my logo (aligned above the Nav Bar. Right now it looks awkward to contain the picture and logo as one.)

   I think it could be done by modifying the header.php file to create a #header2 or something, but I'm not quite sure.

   Has anyone done something similar?

   why not make a single image, large enough to cover the whole header width, with whatever you want on the sides and transparent in the middle? just an ideea
