    I've looked throughout this forum for a solution, but I've found nothing that works. I would like my header image - defined in #branding - linkable back to the home page. I'm using Thematic with a child theme. Is it possible to do this?

  2. When you say header image, do you mean logo?

    When I develop sites, I target the #blog-title and push the text off the screen and insert a background image.

    #blog-title a { display: block; height: 100px; width: 200px; background: url(images/path) no-repeat; text-indent: -9000px; outline: none; }

    The display block on the link makes the whole thing clickable. Of course the heights and widths are flexible and you could techincally make it go full width of the header, but if other elements are also in the header, there is more to it. If this doesn't work, or isn't what you are looking for, you may want to provide some more details.

    Here's what I've done... I'm still learning though so I may not have done it right, lol.

    function childtheme_override_blogtitle() {?>
    	<div id="blog-title"><a href="<?php bloginfo('url') ?>/" title="<?php bloginfo('name') ?>" rel="home"><img src="/wp-content/themes/mytheme/images/logo.png" width="759" height="87" /></a></div>
    	<?php }

    add_action('thematic_header', 'childtheme_override_blogtitle',3);
