  1. I am having hard time changing the color of only the white space of both sides of the blog (visible only on hi-res monitors). In other words, I would like to keep the posts and all other areas white, but would like to change the surrounded "empty" space to black (just like http://arstechnica.com).

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks!

  2. try placing this in your stylesheet...

    body {background-color:#000;}
    #wrapper {background-color:#fff;width:960px;margin:0 auto;}

  3. Thanks, this worked. My only problem now is that the black cut the menu bar as well - I would like the menu bar to go stay on the full length of the screen. I will play with it, maybe I can figure it out.
    Thanks again.

  4. the menu bar is the #access div. If it doesn't have a width specified, it will run the length of the page.
