How can I post to a certain page other than the default page.

I basically have multiple pages that will discuss certain topics so the posts will be organized into their corresponding page.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. That's what categories are for? In which case you need to setup more categories. Pages are static, you don't post anything into them.

  3. Hi-

Jon is right that is what categories do best. You can customize templates for individual categories or conditionally filter Thematic's category template functions.

You can even change the main nav to include category links instead of just page links.

Try taking a look at this thread as an alternative as well Posts on Pages and SubPages It's a little complicated that thread may address what you're talking about accomplishing.

There are lots of ways to approach what you want to do.

    Hi Em Hr,

Im having some trouble with the technique I found in the thread you provided.

I created a custom .php file with the code you provided and then I added the provided code to the theme functions and I tried to alter the code but still doesn't work?? Im pretty new to this Coding stuff so I "may" have made a minor mistake along the way :S

Is there an easier solution to posting categories to page? without having to mess around with functions and all that stuff???

  5. Yeah these things can get complicated. Try looking here for a simpler approach:
