    Hi-

I am using a Thematic child theme called Gallery. I have it installed in a subdirectory of my main site. For example, within www.becomingrobot.com/art .

Can anyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how to get the logo area (when clicked) to go to a different URL than back to www.becoming.com/art ? I know its something in the header, and then subsequently related to “thematic_header()” and functions.php

I am totally stuck. Since I am using the gallery in a directory within my main site, I would like the logo at the top left to go back to the main site instead of to the grid gallery index. Basically, I just need to it to go up one to www.becomingrobot.com instead of back to itself at www.becomingrobot.com/art

Viewing source, it looks like its happening within the div id "branding". Unfortunately, I can't find anything in any php that is writing that div and anchoring php function to get the blogtitle url. If that was the case, I could just delete the php function and enter in my own anchored link in full.

    Where is this buried?! :(

I thought it would be as easy as just changing it in Settings, as this DOES allow the Logo/title to go back to the URL of my choice -www.becomingrobot.com .

Unfortunately, when I change the URL in settings, it messes up all the thumbnails in the grid. So, in order to fix this, I need a deeper area to change or overwrite

    Argh!

    FIXED!

This might be frowned upon, but I found my solution in /themes/thematic/library/extensions/header-extensions.php !

A quick search for "branding" brought me down to <div id="blog-title"><span><a href="<?php bloginfo('url') ?>/" title="<?php bloginfo('name') ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo('name') ?></a></span></div> to which I deleted out the php functions and added in the proper anchored URL and Title.

  5. I really like what you did with the theme. I found the Thematic child Gallery to be really finicky about accepting different sized images. Do I really have to give it a 500x 375 image? Is there no preset for vertical images?

The image gets slammed to the right if I just put it into the post.

How did you overcome this? Any help/advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

Does anyone have the code that would be used to do this in the functions file rather than changing the header-extensions.php?

    Thanks!
