  1. Hi, I'm new here so sorry if this has been asked before:

    I would like the images in my posts to show when I list a category. For example, I have my clipart available for download on my site, and when I click on the clipart category I would like to see the clipart images instead of text only. Actually it goes for all category listings, as I also have my portfolio as a category.

    Grateful for any help,
    Paul

  3. I have the same question.
    I tried but it didn't work out. Is there something I did wrong? Is there something I have to specify further?
    This is what I saved in my functions.php:

    <?php

    //
    // Custom Child Theme Functions
    //

    // I've included a "commented out" sample function below that'll add a home link to your menu
    // More ideas can be found on "A Guide To Customizing The Thematic Theme Framework"
    // http://themeshaper.com/thematic-for-wordpress/guide-customizing-thematic-theme-framework/

    // Adds a home link to your menu
    // http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_page_menu
    //function childtheme_menu_args($args) {
    // $args = array(
    // 'show_home' => 'Home',
    // 'sort_column' => 'menu_order',
    // 'menu_class' => 'menu',
    // 'echo' => true
    // );
    // return $args;
    //}
    //add_filter('wp_page_menu_args','childtheme_menu_args');

    function remove_thematic_actions() {
    remove_action('thematic_header','thematic_blogtitle',3);
    remove_action('thematic_header','thematic_blogdescription',5);
    }
    add_action('init','remove_stuff');

    function my_content($content) {
    if (is_category()) {
    $content = 'full';
    }
    return $content;
    }
    add_filter('thematic_content', 'my_content');
    }

    ?>

  5. this is a beautiful theme and thank you for your response and it is a good idea for the gallery part of a web page but for my blog I couldn't find a solution in there.
    I would like to see the posts after a click on a category as posts and not shorten without pics.
    Is this the right function at all?

    function my_content($content) {
    if (is_category()) {
    $content = 'full';
    }
    return $content;
    }
    add_filter('thematic_content', 'my_content');
    }

    Does anyone have an idea?

  6. Sorry .. wrong direction 'cause of the mentioned cliparts.

    Remove the last bracket .. the code should be:

    function my_content($content) {
    	if (is_category()) {
    		$content = 'full';
    	}
    	return $content;
    }
    add_filter('thematic_content', 'my_content');
