I have made my front page a static page. Now, Just below the page title (entry-title) I want to insert a slideshow ( a php code). How and where do i insert the code? I tried index.php but cud not find any entry-title div.

Okay, I found a plugin that can work by adding a widget. But how do i add a widget to only one static page. I tried doing it from page(top) insert option - but it added the widget to all the static pages. Is there an option to add a widget to only ONE page?

    Hey Chris,

I knew you would be the first to lend a hand. The slideshow is "Creativeclans slideshow widget" - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/creative-clans-slide-show/.

I want it to appear on my static page <home> which i have set as a frontpage.

    thanks and cheers,

  6. Won't work with my shortcode magic .. ok .. add it to the page top or page bottom area and use one of the widget plugins to display it only on the page where you wanna have it.

    Cheers,
