    I just encountered a bug that hasn't been fixed for some time. It was originally reported here:
    http://forums.themeshaper.com/topic/add-a-link-to-external-website-as-a-watermark-to-the-footer

    I have to change a core file, library/extensions/footer-extensions.php, to get around it. What's frustrating is that the file is full of code like
    if (function_exists('childtheme_override_siteinfo')) {

    which should eliminate the need to edit this file, except that the add_action statement following it is in the wrong place so childtheme_override_siteinfo() never gets called.

    If I had access to the repository where the source is kept, I'd happily modify it myself. Ideas anyone? thanks.

    Which version of thematic are you using? I can't see that bug in 0.9.8 so it must have been fixed somewhere along the line.

    You can download the latest stable development version here
