Keeping Featured Content, but moving home page posts?

    Hi,

I would like to KEEP the mega-cool "featured content" section of the home page that includes a few select posts... BUT I would like to NOT have my other posts appear on the home page(loop?). Instead, I would like to have those specific category posts appear on another page of the website.

Using the static page function does not really do the trick because it moves the "featued content" aspect to the page I designate for posts.

I can use a plug in to have posts appear on select pages, but, again, I would like to NOT have ALL my posts appear on the home page (i.e index page). I am unable to "hide" those posts... while leaving the "featured content" section alone.

    Whew... hope that made sense.

    Many thanks,
    Bobby
