  1. Hello
How to make the top navigation menu (header tabs) link to category pages instead of static pages?
I have posts on one category that I would like to have on the top navigation menu instead of only under Categories on the sidebar.

    How would this be done?

    Thanks

  2. There's a few ways, the easiest would be to use Wordpress 3.0, the new menu manager makes this sort of thing a trivial drag-n-drop experience.

Or, if you can't upgrade, you could search the forum here, and find posts like:

  3. I went into the menu manager and it tells me the theme does not support it and you have to register the functions.php!?

    How is this done properly?

    Thanks

  4. Hi Soren,

Unfortunately Thematic 0.9.6.2 does not have nav menu support built in.

The threads tarpontech (thanks! for the help) linked are good examples of how this can be done with Thematic.

The upcoming 0.9.7.3 release of Thematic will support the new nav menu functions introduced WP 3.0.

  5. Hi tarpontech and Gene,

Thanks for the help, yes I did go with the plugin "Page Links To", work as I wanted!

Looing forward for the new release to see if it is better to use than the plugin.
