  1. I have a situation that requires that a client link to a multitude of .pdf documents. I was considering using the links feature in Wordpress to manage this. I would like to create a page using the "Links Page" template in Thematic, but only output the links with the category "documents" for example (and the subcategories of "documents".) Thoughts on how to do this using a child theme would be appreciated...

    Thanks! Malcolm

  4. Done in SVN Revision 522!

    Added the filter list_bookmarks_args() to filter the arguments for wp_list_bookmarks() in links.php.

    Use the following code in your child theme's functions.php to filter the arguments for wp_list_bookmarks:

    function my_links() {
    	return 'categorize=0&category=2&before=<span>&after=</span>&show_images=1&show_description=0&orderby=url';
    }
    add_filter('list_bookmarks_args', 'my_links')

    This is just an example from wp_list_bookmarks.

    Cheers,

    Chris

  8. Decided to go with wp-download manger for this as it give the client a bit more control, but this will come in handy in the future!
