  1. I have a Thematic site in which we've set up attorney bios via Author Profiles. I cannot determine why my Blog nav button catches the "current_page_item" status when viewing a profile page. How can I reset the current state to the "Our Attorneys" nav item?

    see dev here: www.sidhosting.com

Also never got any assist on setting a "|" between nav items in a second menu. See this previous post: http://forums.themeshaper.com/topic/add-between-secondary-top-menu-items

Can anyone throw me a bone on these tidbits?

  2. hey i really like what you have going on w/ the site. looks neat. Blog is actually catching "current_page_parent" since in the hierarchy the authors fall under the blog. the Attorney's link doesn't factor into the hierarchy b/c it is a custom menu item (i think). i'm not sure how to solve this. is there a page that lists ALL the attorneys? maybe if you put that page in the menu it would serve as a parent?

i tossed some bones your way in the other thread.... no idea if they will actually help though. a 3rd bone that just occurred to me, you could CSS-in a border or a small divider graphic.

  3. Hey HtV - setting the author listed page seems an interesting idea. I'll look into that one. I've checked the "walker" you referenced in the other thread...just can't quite wrap my head around it yet. I may try out the CSS for before/after for that top nav bit. However, I know from past experience that it can be inconsistent across browsers, especially IE.

Thanks a mil for you input!
