    Hello,

I currently use the theme "gallery" based on thematic:
    http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/05/04/download-gallery-a-free-wordpress-theme/

But I would like to modify certains things in this theme:
    - put the text under the pictures in the posts (like here: http://mixcss.com/2009/05/27/ui-candy/)
    - increase the weight of picture in the posts

    Can you help me?

when you use the wp uploader (or later in the media library) you can give captions & descriptions to your pics. these can then be included or not at your option. these of course are generated with css classes that can be manipulated from your style.css

and ... increase the weight of pictures? not sure what you mean, but you can change the size of the pix in the wp media library too.

just looked at your links and i see my help may have been too general. that's a pretty specific scenario, and w/o downloading the whole theme i don't know exactly how it works. some quick thoughts tho:

    - id say "An icon and UI design shop from Pixelmatrix Design." is the whole text of the post. i say this because it's wrapped in a .entry-content div

    - the other stuff below it is pulled from 'custom tags' -- see classname of containing div.

    - you could easily change the css to move all that under the img, but i think you'd have to tinker w/ templates to move the "An icon and UI design shop from Pixelmatrix Design." and not the other stuff.....

    - i have no idea where the aforementioned image caption is. you'd prolly have to turn it on ... but if you did, it would probably end up underneath the image.
