    Been poking around and can't find where to change it so that the blog description shows up after the blog title (afterwards, not underneath)

    Examples;

    Now:
    My Blog Title
    My Description

    How I want it:
    My Blog Title - My Description

    Added a screenshot below, and where it's colored green, that's where I want to have the description.

  2. Hi,

    try:

    #blog-title, #blog-description {display: inline;}

    in your child theme's style.css.

    Hi Chris,

    I am struggling with the same issue and this piece of code doesn't seem to work, any other ideas...

    Thanks,
    Mike

    I ended up just using the absolute tag in my CSS:

    #blog-description {
    position:absolute;
    top: 10px;
    left: 565px;
    padding: 0px 0 0px;
    }

    Being a newbie not sure if this is best practice, but it works. Obviously you'll have to play with positioning based on your blog's layout.

  5. I used the above code as Chris' suggestion wasn't working for me due to some other CSS I'd used to replace the blog-title text with an image, code I took from here: http://forums.themeshaper.com/topic/adding-a-header-image.

    #blog-description {
    position:relative;
    top: -16px;
    left: 240px;
    padding: 0px 0 0px;
    }

    By changing it from absolute to relative it seems to work a lot better in my theme, moving the text with the rest of the theme as the browser is resized.
