    Hi folks,

    I know this is possible, I am just not very competent at using the functions file and adding / removing hooks. I have a site I am working on here: ilovelocalhfx.ca/v1. What I want to do is remove the header div altogether and move the branding div into the container div (left column), or move the whole header into the left column if that is easier. This is so the twitter feed right will move to fill up the space right of the logo. Can someone give me a hand with the functions I will need to add. I am not worried about the styling - I can manage that.

    Any help is appreciated,

    WG

  2. it always works the same when you are adding and moving stuff:

    function remove_stuff(){
        remove_action('hook_location','function_you_want_to_remove',$priority# );
    }
    add_action('init','remove_stuff');

    add_action('new_destination_hook','function_you_want_to_move',$priority# );

    you can look at:
    http://www.bluemandala.com/thematic/thematic-structure.html
    or
    http://visualizing.thematic4you.com

    to see some of the the functions and hook names. you can also see the function names and where they are added to in the library/extensions folder
