  1. Hi all,

    Not new to css, but new to WP and Thematic.

    I'm trying to just pop the menu over to the right, and i feel like using
    text-align: right;

    in #access should take care of that - shouldn't that just pop it to the right side of the access area? i literally am just starting, but the link is here:

    I got the menu to move to the right. But here's a related question. What if I want to move the menu to the top right of the header, above the blog name, etc.

    I'm sorry, I'm not a real whiz with css, etc. So if you could tell me what the best code is to use and where I should put it.

  5. Just change the order of the actions creating the header .. needs some stuff in your functions.php:

    function new_header() {
        remove_action('thematic_header','thematic_brandingopen',1);
        remove_action('thematic_header','thematic_access',9);
    }
    add_action('init', 'new_header');
    add_action('thematic_header','thematic_access',1);
    add_action('thematic_header','thematic_brandingopen',2);

    As always: Tested and appoved! .. and further CSS styling is up to you ;-)

    Cheers,

    Chris

    The above code moves the menu to the top right corner and works like a charm. Just for my understanding could you explain how you did that.

    function new_header() {
    remove_action('thematic_header','thematic_brandingopen',1);
    remove_action('thematic_header','thematic_access',9);
    }
    This removes those actions from thematic_header but what is the significance of 1 and 9?

    add_action('init', 'new_header'); //initializes the "new_header"?
    add_action('thematic_header','thematic_access',1); //So #access will appear before #branding now?
    add_action('thematic_header','thematic_brandingopen',2);

    Is there a way to make #access and #branding to be next to each other such that #branding is all the way on left and #access is all the way on right of the page?

    Thanks for your help!
