  1. Hi all, I am new here and have only just started with creating and customising Wordpress themes so you will have to be patient with my lack of knowledge. I am creating a Wordpress theme for my local flying club and have pretty well finished it but there is just one little niggling problem that I can't figure out.

The navigation menu that I have near the top of the page moves upwards whenever you navigate away from the 'Welcome' page.

You can see it for yourself if you go to http://plfc.org.au/ - Note the position of the nav menu and then click on any of the other pages (ie. http://plfc.org.au/contact-us/) and it shifts up and stuffs up the logo image in the process.

Does anyone have any idea how I could resolve this? The header and nav menu should not move at all, regardless of which page you are viewing.

  2. Within about 20 minutes of me writing my post I have managed to solve the mystery! I simply needed to put a min-height value in the #branding div. I thought I would post my solution in case someone else has the same problem.

stitch23red, thanks a ton for posting the solution for this. I'm having the EXACT same problem.

My nav keeps going to the top of the page on every other page except the main home page.

What boggles me is that I would think it would be the same CSS. Why should it be different?

Anyway, it totally works. Again total kudos for posting the solution! :D
