  1. Hi,

    I'm having a lot of difficulty with centering the navigation menu. On my screen (small Macbook), the menu looks centered, but on most screens it is to the right side, and looks really bad.

    I've read the previous topics about this issue, but couldn't find any help there.

    The site: http://www.soviroma.no/papercore/

    Any help much appreciated!

    Thanks

    It looks centered to me, but I can only test on Safari and Firefox. Maybe it is an Internet Explorer issue?

  3. I don't know how to help, but on my computer, surfing with Chrome, it looks like it's to the right. So I confirm that there's a problem there...
    EDIT:
    On Safari too. Can you post a screen grab of what it should look like?

    Ok my bad. I don't know what I was thinking. Because the blogtitle and navigation together was centered, I thought i looked nice and didn't see a problem. But true enough, the navigation IS to the right - but still inside the "page" so to speak.

    How do you want it to look?

    The only way ive found to center the menu is to assign it an exact width to the ul element and use margin : 0 auto;

    The width should be the smallest you can while still showing all items.

    This doesnt work well with dynamic or constantly changing main menu items.

    I will agree with the post above.

    Maybe set the position to relative.

  8. Thanks everybody for your help! I've managed to get the menu looking good beside the header, instead of centered.
